Chapter Meetings
Mark your calendars for the Midwest Chapter's 70th Annual Meeting to be held in "always amazingly new" downtown Indianapolis.
(It's not just about the 500 anymore!) Joe Cehovin (Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library), Jennifer Hehman (Indiana
University-Purdue University Indianapolis), and Sheri Stormes (Butler University) will be your hosts for the meeting, which
will be held at the Hampton Inn Downtown (across from Circle Center Mall). Meeting dates are Thursday-Saturday, October 27-29, 2011.
The Hampton Inn offers cozy, clean, and reasonably-priced rooms (single/double for $115 per night, plus tax), complimentary
"On the House Hot Breakfast" and "On the Go Breakfast Bags," free wireless, high-speed Internet access throughout the building,
single-cup coffeemakers, free local calls, and valet parking ($14 per day).

The Leslie Troutman Scholarship provides support for attendance at chapter meetings by staff and paraprofessionals working in music libraries or with music collections in libraries in the Midwest Chapter region. 2011 Scholarship application can be downladed HERE.
The Retirees Scholarship for Student Members provides support for attendance at chapter meetings by students who are enrolled in a library school in the Midwest Chapter region. 2011 Scholarship application can be downloaded HERE.
National Meetings
The next national meeting of the Music Library Association will be February 15-19, 2012 in
